Baseball Recap: Woodland Comes Up Short

Woodland lost against Barnwell back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines lost 13-3 to the Warhorses.

Woodland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Morris, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Morris hit this season.

Woodland's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Barnwell, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Woodland will welcome Burke at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Barnwell, they will head out on the road to challenge Edisto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
