Basketball Recap: Hazen Takes a Loss

Hazen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 82-29 loss at the hands of the Barton Bears. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Bears are ranked 102nd).

Hazen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Barton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Hazen will be home for the holidays to greet Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Barton and Palestine-Wheatley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
