Meanwhile, Evansville Memorial faced Evansville North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers beat the Huskies by a goal, winning 1-0. That's two games straight that Evansville Memorial have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Avery Slade, who's now up to 16 this season.

Floyd Central's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Evansville Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 14-3-1.
