The Berkeley Springs Indians posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. They blew past Hancock 49-29. Given Berkeley Springs' advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 97th in West Virginia, while Hancock is ranked 267th in Maryland), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory makes it two in a row for Berkeley Springs and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Hancock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Berkeley Springs will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southern Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on February 5th. Hancock won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Grace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Grace Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
