Baseball Recap: Campbellsville Falls Short Against Ranked Niceville

Campbellsville is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Niceville. Campbellsville fell just short of Niceville by a score of 5-4.

Bryson Turpin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Campbellsville's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Niceville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Campbellsville will venture away from home to take on Breckinridge County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Niceville, they will take on Pine Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Niceville is facing Pine Forest at the right time seeing as Pine Forest is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
