Baseball Preview: Whittier RVT Wildcats vs. Pentucket Regional

The Whittier RVT Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge Pentucket Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Whittier RVT's hitters haven't had much luck over their past four matchups, but Thursday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Whittier RVT managed to slip by Shawsheen Valley Tech the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats lost 12-1 to the Rams on Wednesday.

On the hitting side, Ted Cloutier and Tanner Kamuda did most of the damage at the plate: Cloutier went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base, while Kamuda went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Meyer, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Pentucket Regional's record now sits at 3-4. As for Whittier RVT, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
