Softball Recap: Orosi Cardinals vs. Avenal Buccaneers

Orosi had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 6-15-1 to make it four. They came up short against the Avenal Buccaneers, falling 18-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-3 back in March.

Miah Lopez put in work no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and 17 unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
