Soccer Game Preview: American Fork vs. Lehi + How To Watch

The American Fork Cavemen will venture away from home to square off against the Lehi Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. American Fork's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, it was close, but American Fork sidestepped Skyridge for a 2-1 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering American Fork's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Skyridge are ranked 41st).

CAMBREE BALLARD and SURI PARSIA scored both of American Fork's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lehi, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against Skyridge on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Lehi might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

American Fork is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Lehi, their record now sits at 10-7.

American Fork skirted past Lehi 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavemen since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
