Softball Game Preview: Zwolle Hawks vs. Anacoco Indians

The Zwolle Hawks will square off against the Anacoco Indians on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Zwolle 3.7, Anacoco 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Zwolle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They beat Bell City by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-1. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Anacoco got themselves on the board against Lacassine on Wednesday, but Lacassine never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 15-0 victory. Considering the Indians have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Anacoco is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season. As for Zwolle, their win bumped their record up to 20-12.

Zwolle couldn't quite get it done against Anacoco in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 9-5. Can the Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
