Football Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Palm Beach Lakes's offense. They came up short against the Palm Beach Central Broncos on Thursday, falling 25-0. The defeat leaves the Rams still looking for their first win of the season.

Palm Beach Central was led to victory by KELSI AQUAS and CIARA FRANCOIS. AQUAS threw for 270 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72% of her passes, while FRANCOIS gained 115 total yards and a touchdown. FRANCOIS also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending two passes.

Palm Beach Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Palm Beach Central, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palm Beach Lakes will welcome Glades Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Palm Beach Central, they will square off against Spanish River at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Spanish River is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30 points per game this season.
