Soccer Recap: Brackenridge Takes a Loss

Brackenridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wagner Thunderbirds. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Thunderbirds from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Brackenridge's goal came courtesy of Eduardo Cubillos, which was the first he's scored this season.

Brackenridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wagner, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Brackenridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Harlandale on the 11th. As for Wagner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Eagle Pass on the 11th.
