Greenville H had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Mauldin Mavericks on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Hurricanes not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 23, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Greenville H not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Mauldin between 17 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-18.

Cai Claeys paced Greenville H's offense, picking up nine kills. Claeys got some help from Kazio Wlodarczyl and his 17 assists. Wlodarczyl also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Xander Emmerson, racking up three apiece.

Greenville H didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Providence Athletic Club on the 15th. Hopefully Mauldin paid attention to the Hurricanes' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
