Basketball Recap: Oxnard Comes Up Short

After flying high against Buena on Wednesday, Oxnard came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the San Marcos Royals by a score of 43-41 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Royals: they've now lost four in a row.

Oxnard's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for San Marcos, they pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
