Basketball Game Preview: Ellison Lions vs. Josephinum Cougars

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Ellison Lions duke it out with the Josephinum Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday... The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ellison and 13 for Josephinum.

Ellison played against Walther Christian Academy and lost via forfeit.

Last Thursday, Josephinum was beaten by Sandburg 85-24. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 695th, while the Eagles are ranked 93rd).

Josephinum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ellison, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
