Volleyball Recap: North Cobb Takes a Loss

North Cobb was the 2-1 winner over Cherokee Bluff when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Carter paced North Cobb's offense, picking up nine kills. Carter got some help from Ashley Hendershot and her 13 assists. Jenesys Moctezuma controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

North Cobb's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cherokee Bluff, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

North Cobb has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Forsyth on the 16th. As for Cherokee Bluff, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Buford on the 14th.
