Bessemer Academy piles up the points against Clarke Prep

The Bessemer Academy Rebels stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clarke Prep 63-26 at home. Winning may never get old, but Bessemer Academy sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Bessemer Academy was led to victory by Kane Burns and Johnathan Winston. Burns scored ten points along with three steals, while Winston scored 13 points along with two steals. Luke Turner was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Bessemer Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Clarke Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Bessemer Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fort Dale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Clarke Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
