Soccer Recap: Civic Memorial Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Civic Memorial was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against the Triad Knights, falling 4-0. Civic Memorial were not able to make up for their defeat to Triad from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Civic Memorial has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Triad, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Civic Memorial will host Father McGivney Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Triad, they will welcome Cor Jesu Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
