Basketball Recap: Derry Falls Despite Big Games from Brayden Robinson and Stanley Rajkovich

Derry was the 51-45 winner over East Allegheny when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wild Cats on Friday. The matchup marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Stanley Rajkovich and Brayden Robinson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Rajkovich dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds, while Robinson posted 16 points and seven boards. Rajkovich's evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Hudson Fridley also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Derry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for East Allegheny, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
