Baseball Recap: East Providence Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for East Providence's offense. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The defeat continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost six in a row.

East Providence's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for South Kingstown, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

East Providence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Cranston West on the 29th. As for South Kingstown, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Cumberland on the 29th.
