Volleyball Recap: Dunmore Victorious

Dunmore saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Towanda Black Knights by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.

Dunmore didn't let Towanda take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22.

Amanda Dempsey paced Dunmore's offense, picking up eight kills. Dempsey got some help from Katelyn Henry and her seven assists. Lizzie Mendola controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Dunmore's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Towanda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Dunmore has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Blue Ridge on the 20th. Towanda has also already played their next contest (against Wellsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
