Basketball Recap: Tongue River Takes a Loss

Tongue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Wright Panthers and fell 87-51. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Panthers are ranked eighth).

Tongue River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Wright, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Tongue River has already played their next match (against Moorcroft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wright will look to defend their home court on Friday against Big Horn at 4:30 p.m. Wright knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Big Horn likes a good challenge.
