Basketball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were beaten by the Maquoketa Cardinals 58-31 on Friday. The match marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cascade's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Maquoketa, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will take on Camanche at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Camanche will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cascade surely won't give up without a fight. Maquoketa has already played their next contest (against Northeast), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
