Recap: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Lee Williams Volunteers
The Moon Valley Rockets were the 61-55 winner over the Lee Williams Volunteers when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Moon Valley fell just short of Lee Williams by a score of 48-45.
Moon Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damion Miller-Coleman, who scored 15 points. Miller-Coleman scored a full 33.3% of Moon Valley's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Galab Galab was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lee Williams, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moon Valley's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Independence at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. Independence comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Lee Williams, they will be playing at home against Shadow Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
