Baseball Recap: Murray Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Murray waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Granger Lancers by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Tuesday.

Degan Biltz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Conner Whitehead was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Biltz wasn't the only one making solid contact: Murray kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Murray's record now sits at 9-2-1. As for Granger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Murray will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lancers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
