Basketball Recap: Clyde Comes Up Short

After flying high against Norwalk on Friday, Clyde came back down to earth. The Fliers took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Willard Crimson Flashes on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Fliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Crimson Flashes are ranked 132nd).

Clyde's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Willard, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Clyde will host Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Willard, they are taking a road trip to take on Port Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
