Volleyball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short

Decatur lost against Priceville back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Despite the defeat, Decatur saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riley Chism had nine assists and six digs.

Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Priceville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 34-9.

Coming up, Decatur will head out to challenge Muscle Shoals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Priceville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Brewer on the 25th.
