Baseball Recap: Lanphier Takes a Loss

Lanphier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Greene Spartans, falling 10-0.

Lanphier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Tucker has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Jayvion Anderson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Lanphier's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for North Greene, they moved to 3-13 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

While Lanphier had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
