Basketball Recap: Mill River Takes a Loss

Mill River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Arlington Memorial Eagles 54-16. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Minutemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-21 back in December of 2024.

Mill River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Arlington Memorial, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mill River will venture away from home to challenge Twin Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arlington Memorial, they will head out on the road to face off against Long Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
