Softball Recap: Glenbard South Comes Up Short

Glenbard South came into this matchup off a tough eight-run defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the St. Francis Spartans by a score of 7-5 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Raiders have suffered since March 26th.

This is the second loss in a row for Glenbard South and nudges their season record down to 10-19. As for St. Francis, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 23-4.

As of now, neither Glenbard South nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
