Soccer Recap: Thunderbird Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Thunderbird came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the Horizon Huskies. Thunderbird were not able to make up for their loss to Horizon from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Thunderbird's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Horizon, their record now sits at 2-0.

Coming up, Thunderbird will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Cactus Shadows at 6:00 p.m. As for Horizon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
