Volleyball Recap: Canon City Falls Despite Big Games from Micah Paschall and Mason Lenard

Canon City and Stargate School squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Canon City had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0.

Mason Lenard and Micah Paschall certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Lenard had 15 digs and two assists, while Paschall had 12 digs and 12 assists. Paschall is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Canon City now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Stargate School, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Canon City and Stargate School will both be playing Vail Christian the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Saints at 5:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
