Clinton Central won the last time they faced Delphi Community and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Oracles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

While Clinton Central might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Delphi Community scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-25, 20-25, 25-21.

Carly Davison paced Clinton Central's offense, picking up 12 kills. Davison got some help from Alli Adair and her 32 assists. Davison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Despite the loss, Delphi Community saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jansen Brown had 19 digs. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Brown. Another player making a difference was Sami Leopard, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Clinton Central's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Delphi Community, they dropped their record down to 2-21 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Clinton Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Guerin Catholic on the 27th. As for Delphi Community, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Taylor on the 29th.
