Port Allegany strolled into their game  on Monday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Northern Potter Panthers by a score of  8-5. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.
 Kellen Veilleux made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Veilleux was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Aiden Bliss was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.  Tyler Fillhart was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
Port Allegany's record is now 3-0. As for Northern Potter, their defeat was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port Allegany will venture away from home to  face off against Coudersport  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Gators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.2  runs per game this season. As for Northern Potter, they are taking a road trip to  challenge Smethport  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
