Softball Recap: Jefferson Saints vs. Bennett Tigers
After flying high against Platte Canyon last Monday, Jefferson came back down to earth. The Jefferson Saints lost 28-18 to the Bennett Tigers on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 35-13 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Jefferson has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Bennett, their record is now 7-15.
Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
