Oakville took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ocosta, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Acorns narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Acorns have posted since April 19, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Dre Kluth, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
