Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timothy Christian). They put the hurt on the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes with a sharp 70-45 win on Friday. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 71-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Timothy Christian to victory were Marc Gamble and Dylan Drye. Gamble went 7 of 11 en route to 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Drye posted 12 points and six assists. That's the most assists Drye has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Crichton, who put up nine points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Timothy Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Timothy Christian and bumps their season record up to 8-13. As for Marian Central Catholic, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Timothy Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-50 loss against Illiana Christian on the 25th. As for Marian Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
