Volleyball Game Preview: Sunnyside Blue Devils vs. Desert View Jaguars + Official Tickets

The Sunnyside Blue Devils are taking a road trip to take on the Desert View Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunnyside is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Sunnyside lost 3-0 to Rincon/University on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Desert View came up short against Flowing Wells on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Jaguars have struggled against the Caballeros recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Desert View was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 27-25, 25-20.

Sunnyside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Desert View, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Sunnyside was able to grind out a solid victory over Desert View in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Jaguars' Azalea Moraga, who had 20 digs and four aces.
