Basketball Recap: Corcoran Comes Up Short

Corcoran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delano Tigers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2021.

Jotham Amodo went supernova For Delano., putting up 25 points. That's the most points Amodo has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Amodo, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.

Corcoran's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Delano, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Corcoran will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Orosi at 6:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Delano, they and Chavez will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
