Jac-Cen-Del is 9-1 against Shawe Memorial since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will head out to challenge the Hilltoppers at 5:00 p.m. Jac-Cen-Del is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Jac-Cen-Del didn't have quite enough to beat Rising Sun and fell 7-6. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blake Wagner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Rowland, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Shawe Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Switzerland County, falling 17-0.

Shawe Memorial saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cavaan Hambrick, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Shawe Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Jac-Cen-Del, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Jac-Cen-Del's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Eagles have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Shawe Memorial, though, as they've been averaging only 1.1 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Jac-Cen-Del continue to outrun the ball?

Everything went Jac-Cen-Del's way against Shawe Memorial in their previous matchup back in April, as Jac-Cen-Del made off with a 16-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
