Volleyball Recap: Page's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games + How To Watch

If Page was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Eastern Guilford on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Southwest Guilford Cowboys on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Cowboys: they've now lost seven in a row.

While Page was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-16.

Kassidy Swindell paced Page's offense, picking up eight kills. Swindell got some help from Goergia Pope and her 14 assists. Swindell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Page fell to 6-1. As for Southwest Guilford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.
