Basketball Recap: Glendale's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Glendale needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Joey Kitko. The Glendale Vikings came out on top against the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels by a score of 51-41 on Friday thanks in part to Kitko, who almost dropped a double-double on 28 points and nine boards. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high.

Glendale's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Moshannon Valley, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Glendale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-42 victory against Northern Bedford County on the 16th. Moshannon Valley has also already played their next game, a 55-52 win against Southern Huntingdon County on the 16th.
