Basketball Recap: Lakeview Warriors vs. Nonnewaug Chiefs
After flying high against Northwestern Regional last Friday, Lakeview came back down to earth. The Lakeview Warriors took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nonnewaug Chiefs on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-60 back in December of 2024.

Lakeview's loss came despite strong showings from Patrick Weaving and Jack Gollow. Weaving went 7 of 14 en route to 16 points along with eight boards and six assists, while Gollow went 5 for 11 on his way to 17 points. The game was Gollow's third in a row with at least ten points.
