Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Barbers Hill couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the College Station Cougars on Tuesday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their 27-game winning streak.

Kenli Irwin paced Barbers Hill's offense, picking up ten kills. Irwin got some help from Isabella Franco and her 12 assists. Baylee Foster controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Haley Nash went supernova For College Station., getting 18 digs and two aces. Nash is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Barbers Hill's loss dropped their record down to 40-6. As for College Station, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-10.
