Softball Recap: Alliance Bulldogs vs. Bayard Tigers
Alliance won the last time they faced Bayard, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Alliance Bulldogs were the clear victor by an 11-2 margin over the Bayard Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
The team relied heavily on Alivia Osborn, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base. What's more, she also racked up three hits, the mostshe's had since back in August. Maci Cornish was another key player, going 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI.
Alliance has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-22 record this season. As for Bayard, they now have a losing record at 11-12-1.
Alliance is on the road again on Saturday to play Chase County. Alliance is facing Chase County at the right time seeing as Chase County is stuck on a 22-game losing streak. Bayard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
