Volleyball Game Preview: Triad Cardinals vs. Miami Valley Rams

The Triad Cardinals will head out on the road to challenge the Miami Valley Rams at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Triad will be strutting in after a win while Miami Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Triad will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Southeastern Local, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-8, 25-10.

Triad's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hunter Hoffman, who had six aces and four digs.

Hoffman wasn't the only good servers: Triad was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The Cardinals are 10-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Miami Valley came up short against Yellow Springs on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Miami Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Triad, their record now sits at 10-7.
