Baseball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Oakland's offense. They fell just short of the Siegel Stars by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Stars: they've now lost four in a row.

Oakland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Wayman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Siegel, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

While Oakland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
