Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southside Christian). They never let Living Water Christian get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Friday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Southside Christian's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Living Water Christian is ranked 417th).

Southside Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four matches. As for Living Water Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Southside Christian will square off against Raleigh Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Living Water Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Living Water Christian are facing Jones at the right time seeing as Jones are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
