Jefferson is 10-0 against Broadwater since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Jefferson Panthers will square off against the Broadwater Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.1 points per game this season.

Jefferson is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Ennis just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 55-52. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Mustangs are ranked eighth).

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cameron Toney, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryian Eveland, who went 5 of 6 on her way to 10 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Broadwater lost to West Yellowstone on the road by a 41-26 margin back in December of 2024. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Broadwater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jefferson, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Jefferson against Broadwater when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-22 win. Will Jefferson repeat their success, or does Broadwater have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
