Softball Recap: St. Joseph Cadets vs. Danbury Hatters

St. Joseph can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Danbury Hatters with a sharp 14-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Joseph.

Sophia Horvack tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits.

On the hitting side, St. Joseph got a massive performance out of Makena Hawkins, who went 3-for-5 with a home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Jill Guilfoyle, who scored two runs while going 4-for-4.

St. Joseph's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. As for Danbury, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

As of now, neither St. Joseph nor Danbury have any future games scheduled.
