Soccer Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mountain Ridge was not quite Syracuse's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Syracuse Titans. The Sentinels' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Syracuse, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Mountain Ridge will head out on the road to square off against Bingham at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be Mountain Ridge's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Syracuse, they will welcome Corner Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
